Brief Bio

Catherine Mbagaya holds a PhD degree from Leiden University, the Netherlands and a Master of Education degree in Psychology from Maseno University.  Since completing her PhD, Catherine has been teaching and mentoring Masters and PhD students at Maseno University. She teaches mainly Developmental Psychology, Psychopathology and Research Methods. Her research focus is in the area of parenting and early childhood development and education.  She has published papers in her area of research and presented papers in international conferences. Currently, she is conducting research on learning and psychosocial outcomes of preschool children in Kisumu County, Kenya.
